Dawning Of A New Day

This story -- if you can call it that -- comes from a creative writing exercise I did while in hospital following a mental health crisis. I decided to turn it into a ... whatever this is to learn about Ren'Py. The original title/prompt was "Walking on a path -- the path of recovery" but when I found the handwriting font Dawning of a New Day I knew I had to bring them together.

The in-browser version above does not work in Safari, Chrome, and doubtless many others. It does work in Firefox, although the music sync in automatic play mode is awful. (To be honest, it's not great in the desktop version, but as the intent here was always more learning exercise than polished product, I'm not going to spend any more effort in trying to refine it further.)

(For those not familiar with default Ren'Py controls: shift-A will get you an accessibility menu and allow you to change the Dawning of New Day font to something more legible.)
