Hour 152


Well into the last day. It's several hours since I resigned myself to the fact that failure is not just an option here, but an overwhelming probability. I've spent most of the time since the last devlog wrestling the combat system into shape. It's finally there, although I've had to descope a fairly major mechanic because there's just no way to get it in in time, whereas I might have a complete, if distinctly underwhelming, game if I let it go. Same with the maps. And the save mechanism.

Because, with less than 24 hours to go, it's time to start implementing the AI.
