Final thoughts on 7DRL

I said on Monday "It may seem a little crazy to be doing software development as a relaxing break from software development, but the difference is in goals, audience and environment".

As an example of that difference, this devlog has been getting 30--40 reads per entry.

I reckon that's more people than have read all of the in-house documentation I've been diligently maintaining for the last decade.

I return to my work desk (always separate business and pleasure, even when they're the same thing under the same roof) with no little sadness. Turns out that knowing I have an audience is at least as important to me as delivering them my best work.
