Hour 9


End of day 1. I've got things set up to my usual working standards (ie it's in version control, specifically github, and obviously has this project). Most of today's work (I've not been going flat-out) has been trying to turn the tileset I decided to use into something that Godot can autotile. Which is problematic because it's missing some crucial configurations. And importing this map generation code. Which I've had to tweak a bit, and will require some more to fix some aspects of the algorithms which no longer work because of the tileset.

I'm feeling even less confident about delivering now. Most of my two whole years of game dev experience has been with 3D projects in Unity, and switching to 2D in Godot adds two learning curves.
