Hour 70


Morning of day 4. Have added placeholder enemies, and player movement with tracking view. Just don't move left. It breaks the grid system for some reason. That's the debugging session I have to have after taking the cat to the vets for her debugging session.

If you're wondering why I'm not producing much in the way of screen shots or gifs: apart from there not being much to look at, I just don't have an easy way of integrating them into my workflow, especially gifs. I'm working in Godot on Linux, and just don't have one easy tool to hand to do it with. Screen shots are capture the whole window with [whatever it is] then crop out the frame with gimp, and gifs are capture with vokoscreen, edit with flowblade, convert with gifcurry. Which, yeah, I did that for DragonMail, but that's been a long-term, serious project, not a 7-day jam.
